Merle is an artist from Nottingham with a love for folkloric symbols and surreal imaginings. They have always painted, but their love of ceramics and poetry has been reignited only since moving to Bristol town. They have been interested in combining these three languages of clay - paint - words into new sculpture stories. They find a lot of satisfaction in working with their hands: making and cleaning and in their free time - dancing about.
